Blindsided: How to Respond When a Vendor Gets Hacked
Presented by: Ncontracts

Vendor breaches are an increasingly common occurrence, creating a huge headache for financial institutions when sensitive data is compromised, or services are disrupted. The only thing worse than having to deal with the fallout of a vendor breach is not being prepared with a plan for responding to it.

This program will help risk managers develop a vendor incident management plan and incorporate it into their vendor management programs. Specific topics include:
• Types of data breaches and vulnerabilities
• Defining vendor breaches and notification timelines
• Issues to address in the event of vendor data breach incidents (including regulatory, legal, public relations, and IT)
• Collaborating across departments and business lines to ensure a comprehensive response
• Documentation and contingency plans in case the responses are ineffective

Join us as we examine how financial institutions develop an effective, documented vendor incident management plan to respond to vendor data breaches.
